The day, boring as always, seemed to just be starting up at this time. Hence the sun's quiet entrace into the large male's intense view. His thoughts were scattered. Auburn eyes made a quick sweep of his surroundings, to assure himself that he was still indeed going in the right direction. Satisfied with the results, he headed forth. His steps weren't one of grace or beauty, but rather power. He took each step with boldness and good footing with his massive paws. This canine didn't care about trackers, they could follow him all they wished, they weren't going to get anywhere. His colossal head swung to the right, eyes narrowing in on some various artifacts that shone with the sun's rays. He was looking for something and that wasn't it, for he'd just as soon adverted his head back straight in alignment with his spine.
The large male, Renegade, was indeed looking for the leader of this here area. He found it fit that he take control of his life for once and allow himself into a strong househould, so-called. A life that contained complete havoc and fright. This place, this Coliseum, seemed perfect and from the stench that rigged his velvety, black nose he was pretty sure they knew what they were doing. So, the shepherd kept moving and paid no mind to the little things that would futhermore carry no intended value in life. Such as the ground he was walking on that carefuly molded his large paws under the pressure being applied with each step.
It was quiet and loud, both two things no one really could decipher as one at this moment. It was quiet from rampage, but loud with life. Nothing in particular could spark his interest at this moment either. That is until he was interupted by a group of big shots that found it in the need to bother him while he was doing something. He could hear them cursing him, threatning him and he could only muster that dishonest smile he flashed so many times throught his life. The one that caused the same effect that his chilling, deep voice did. A frightful event.
Renegade simply looked up with this auburn eyes, staring them down with a intense act of annoyance. They seemingly thought they'd get the better hand on him when, in honest doubt, they knew nothing of his blood and how much he'd simply love to draw their blood. Nothing at all in particular. Yet, he'd only cause conflict if that were to happen and conflict was something he needed not at this moment. So, without another moment of hesitation, the white male kept moving and ignored their false marks of dominance with a quick and testy, "Don't fuckin' touch me." as he hastily moved on towards his destination. The place where the heavy scent of dominance ranked out all the others.
Yes, Renegade wasn't stupid and he knew exactly how it went with those who decided they'd act superior whilst the leader bore no notice. Ignorance put lightly. He wasn't delirious to that type of act, but he didn't feel as if it was his place to correct them. So, he ignored them and dignatly made his way onward. It would've seemed that he'd made his point because they no long made any advances towards him and moved past him towards his own destination. He could here their cries of '‘Keahi, your highness! This male's intruding and we can't seem to stop him! What are your orders, your highness?' He found them pitiful that they falsely accused him of being some type of fantastic superhero.
Yet, he couldn't help but feel slightly happy that they were idiotic to his actual acts. This way, maybe, he could get a little bit of a scrap in since they knew nothing of him. It'd be fun and a little well needed work out for him. He'd always been told that if he held his head proud he would never be challenged in the area that he was superior. Although, as he walked on he could hear the heavy pants of them coming back. Back for more and nothing. Which was the inital reason Renegade tensed up and steadied his steps. He kept his head high, but ready to protect his precious neck. It'd only be a matter of time now, yet if they so happened to come with their leader then it'd be a good thing.

————————— ‘Keahi, your highness, the male’s intruding and we can’t seem to stop him! What are your orders, your highness?’
The rolling of eyes and a sigh at the stupidity of most males followed the yells and cries of the dogs of his pack. Of course, those defending and watching the borders of the Coliseum were males—the females were elsewhere, being guarded like the Crown Jewels in case they tried to escape—and for a moment in time, he debated on letting females guard the borders. They seemed to be much more efficient at monitoring things, or so it would seem.
There was another sigh as he watched the aforementioned intruder stroll past his guards. Fucking things, they were useless; he’d have to give the ranks a little shuffle. Now thoroughly irritated at the lack of attention that the dogs had been giving to their job, the dog snarled and debated on making his presence known, pondering the effects of such a movement. He decided against it, even if it was for a moment longer. He’d wait and see what the ruffian did—waiting and observing was his game; he was in his element when it came to watching.
‘Don’t fuckin’ touch me.’
Ooh, from that, he got the impression that the offender was just a bit shirty and arrogant. The dog’s movements told him a lot; the obvious power behind his steps was akin to Keahi’s, yet the Alpha’s sign of dominance was more reserved and subtle than this great white beast’s idea of showing it. At the thought of the comparison, the mongrel grinned to himself and rose from where he’d been observing the commotion, stretching briefly before deciding that now was the time to strike.
He heard the guards’ running back, their clumsy footfalls and anxious pants ringing in his ears, and Keahi rolled his eyes again. Yes, they’d definitely be getting moved down, much to his chagrin. The worthless bastards, they couldn’t even stop one dog from getting through the system, but as he moved parallel to the intruder, he began to think about why. Respect—this dog obviously demanded respect and the fools had given it to him, which only angered the Alpha even more.
“I wouldn’t go that way if I were you,” Keahi commented lightly, noticing the way in which the dog seemed to be heading. “That’s strictly pack territory, and you, my friend, don’t seem to belong to this pack.” His eyes observed the white dog, taking in his size and stature and already the Alpha’s mind was working. He hadn’t seen the other male around, otherwise he would have recognized him—even if it was vague recognition—so the dog decided that the intruder was either very good at hiding or rather new to Rome. He went for the latter.
“The name’s Keahi.” The introduction was brief; breezy, as he liked to keep it. Moving forward so that he was closer to the other dog and partly blocking off the route that led deeper into the Coliseum, he fixed the intruder with a curious look. “You managed to get past my pitiful excuse for guards, I see,” he stated coolly with a grin, “I congratulate you.”

It would seem that he'd gotten his wish because the leader soon came into perfect view although he could plainly tell he wasn't at all happy with this situation. That made the two of them. Of course he was moving as he watched the leader pass on, making various signs of displeasure of his people's actions. Yeah, they didn't do so good did they?
The white dog moved his large body on, stopped partialy by the uttered words of suggestive direction. `I wouldn’t go that way if I were you,' Renegade paused completely, lifting his lips in a deep and mischevious grin as he was oh so casually cut off from his wishful direction. It'd all been intended though, the attention of the Leader was indeed on him as he'd wished it to be.
Without another thought he paused mid-stride and made his own little suggestion. "Well, i'd say that's a mighty good point, but seeing as you are the leader it's manatory you know where to go in your lands." The sly, teasing manner of his words were only half-serious seeing as to he was one of the sarcastic and joking nature if not serious all the time.
`The name’s Keahi. '`You managed to get past my pitiful excuse for guards, I see,' 'I congratulate you.' Renegade frowned, completely out of his joking matter as to the fact he felt seriousness was needed deeply in this situation. Prior to his congrats he'd have been the joking fellow with a humor that came naturally and dry. Yet, he had this urge to show that he was indeed completely business and top quality. "Yeah, they aren't so good. I was indeed hoping they'd be some type of challenge, but they treat me as the others do back home." He said absently as he looked past the male into the vast gleam of the sun's rays against the atmosphere of the world. Passionate and beautiful as ever.
Then came the introduction in his chilling, gruff nature that only really opened when seriousness was intended. "Well, it's honestly a pleasure Keahi. Call me Renegade." At this moment he gave up on playing games and simply back stepped so that he could sit without having the intense feeling he was too close or close to getting jumped. It was always that way with him, he had personal space issues. And just like that he was looking the leader in the eye with those auburn eyes that simply drug all types of emotion into them like two circular black holes.
The white male grinned intensely, licking at his whiskered muzzle and over his black nose as he watched the leader and his failure-prone cronnies. I guess it was time to lay down the line. "Thanks for the congrats, but I honestly didn't come here to humiliate your, er -" He stopped and looked at them with a pitiful shake of his massive head. " I fear to call them guards, sadly." His voice had a pinch of pity in it, but it wasn't anything that fashioned mercy just him feeling as if they weren't good enough to walk the earth. On another thought, he found this suave character a little bit of a admirable creature or atleast someone he could eventually become a good pal with and this was something he simply didn't think about on a regular basis.

————————— ‘Yeah, they aren't so good. I was indeed hoping they'd be some type of challenge, but they treat me as the others do back home.’
He had to confess, the border patrol was the letdown of the pack. It was even more upsetting to see that a perfect outsider thought that, as well, and if word got out that the Coliseum’s patrol was shit, he’d have males swarming the ruins in no time. Now, the patrol could handle the bitches, he knew that, but he’d have to give them lessons in toughening up to the males that wandered in, and there was no doubt in his mind that this dog would be the one to do that.
‘Well, it’s honestly a pleasure, Keahi. Call me Renegade.’
The Alpha grinned pleasantly, tilting his head towards the dog. “Pleasure’s all mine, I can assure you, Renegade.” The dog was impressive, there was no reason to doubt that, and he narrowed his eyes briefly at one of the patrol as they scuttled past. Bloody letdowns; he’d have to have a very severe word with them later. How was he supposed to operate a pack if they couldn’t keep any old Tom, Dick or Harry outside of the Coliseum walls?
‘Thanks for the congratulations, but I honestly didn’t come here to humiliate your, er – I fear to call them guards, sadly.’
Shaking his head sadly, Keahi’s shoulders seemed to sag. “Mm, they are pretty terrible,” he confessed, shooting another glare at the dogs. “I mean… they’re good at handling the stray bitches that cross our borders—but males,” he let out a dry laugh, “Other males are a different matter. It’s like they welcome them, fucking idiots,” he muttered, livid with the patrol now.
They were an absolute letdown. Inhaling sharply and relaxing slightly, he watched Renegade take a step back and sit down. The heat beat down on his back and Keahi thought about sitting down as well, deciding against it and instead heading towards the shade, pausing for a moment and gesturing for the new dog to follow him. It was better than he got off on the same foot as the intruder; besides, the dog did seem quite friendly and he could do with someone like that around.
“So, what brings you here?” the Alpha inquired casually, flopping down in the shade of one of the Coliseum’s various columns. He welcomed the lack of sun and the cool breeze that seemed to pick up from nowhere, instantly cooling him down, much to his relief. “It’s not often I see someone like you around.” There was a pause as the dog yawned and exhaled comfortably. “I do hope you decide to stay; the Coliseum has been rather…” Trailing off, Keahi searched for the right word, “Lacking in males recently.”
ooc. short. D: sorry.

The sun was threatningly beating down his back as he sat, arching himself slightly in the action he decided to move. The sharp glances and uttered put-downs issued from Keahi's mouth were mere heavenly scriptures to someone of his nature. It was actually funny. So funny, that he broke out in one of his sadistic grins that bore all of his pearly whites.
Renegade kept grinning and those grins were send towards the patrols, then towards Keahi of whom he felt the need to express his completely sickening expression to this whole ordeal. It was all obvious to him now, the fact that the guards weren't usualy put in a situation as his. They were used to roaming chicks and beat down worthy chumps that hadn't sparred blood a day in their pitiful lives. Well, he'd sure broken the mold on that little scenerio now hadn't he?
The white male casualy took his offer and followed him with a suave motion of which he walked, yet he felt no need to get at all over exaggerant with it. It was just some shade. Slowly, he laid his large body down on the ground in the relaxing shade of column. Then, with a gentle sigh, he carefully accessed the layout being thrown upon him. They were somewhat lacking in the male gender, which either meant they had too many females or too little people altogether. He'd narrowed it down easily now.
"Well, Keahi, you've definately got yourself an male addition to this little escapade. You've impressed me and given me the idea that we could definately dominate around these part." He saidi with a crazy grin towards him as he looked him in the eyes. "Now this lacking of the males thing. I'm fine with it, but if you'd care to enlighten me on the situation here? Are we talking a bunch of chicks or just plain lacking. Either way i'm confident we can make something out of either." These words, so devilish and conniving. Of course he had a master plan behind them. It may not have been stated or shown before, but when it came to chicks dear Renegade was the Pimp Daddy Mack and he took no additional toll in the chick's lives other then his children that seemingly brought interest. So, yeah. Him and Keahi were definately two peas in a pod.
outofcharacter// hey it's all fine with me. mine's terrible so don't feel bad.
