living as a street dog for quite some time came with many rewards. rewards consisting that of meals that tended to your every need in terms of hunger. friendships that would tumble along drama and foolish nonsense. battles that would turn sour after several of restless days. shelters that would maintain a stable protection. packs that would engage you in their endless wars of redemption. all except for the last reward was obtained into one bitch's life in particular. never would she be tempted to be enclosed in a community that wanted her strength and virtues, no. that is not the point of a pack. mainly, she cared about pride and personality. strength was not her strength, it was her weakness actually. instead, she prided herself for her achievements and wits to with go this chaotic life.
as you could have guessed, there were no intentions of stumbling across a vacant pack. no for she was disgusted with their dirty goals. especially those that hungered for their pleasure and her virginity and none the less. the reason for coming across such an ancient ruin was to encounter more chances to an adventure. or, to know of the vast scopes beyond her moist, dainty box. little had she known that it had been invaded by helpless canines that were being threatened by the human race. though, she was not so much 'frightened' or 'angered' at the humans due to her harsh past puppy hood. it helped a lot to know citta del cane like the back of her paw in order to know where every human lurks, around every corner. a personal advantage. though, she was lonely in the world which was the sullen disadvantage, balancing it out a bit.
mitts ached horribly for her constant urge to be moving. it was irritating to stay put lazily in one spot for too long at one moment. but, then again it was the life of a street dog and that opinion was bound to happen sooner or later. life. life was so cruel sometimes. yet, life can be pretty awarding if you live it the right way around and not dangerously close enough to the edge. it was your choice whether or not it was enjoyable or horrid. to her, she would rather have both in a way for many reasons. one is just for the amusement. pads were rough and scaly, showing the utter most pain she was suffering from.
with the dainty mitts that gave her many abilities, she continued on toward the enlarged destination. various arches etched a true purpose in the roman worlds, yet she was not sure as to what that meaning was. maybe to serve as windows or entrances. from the curiosity of the building that had begun to form into rubble and yet still a landmark, she had no other thought than to investigate further. for some odd reason, she was always up to the chance to learn and enhance her readily available knowledge. it helped greatly to have much intelligence regarding street life.
entering hesitantly into the open embankment, her brilliant almond lanterns danced from many substances inside. as she walked, long stilts were tense in order to caress her frame. muscles were loose as she held no fear but mere interest in the history of the ancient romans that once flooded the coliseum with endless vocals and amusement. it was no wonder why this building was so run down from all of the activity that invaded it once before. now, it was only of significance to tourists and that of a pack. nares flared, inhaling the dense and anxious scent of another much like herself. a male. it was a male canine, she could tell for males had a much stronger aroma to them. unless of course there was a wench in heat. but, what was the chances of that, now?
there was no business or liking towards the beast, she only had a liking toward herself. never had she really acquired a 'mate' seen as how she wasn't successful in relationships due to her vicious behavior. who could blame her really? not to mention that fact that she believed not of love but nothing more than strong feelings. love was such an overused word that meant nothing at all. at least, that is what she saw in her eyes. to see two canines snuggling and playing lovey-dovey was just plain old sickening. it served no purpose. why show feelings with affection instead of lyrics? it was much easier that way.
the weak trace of her aroma led throughout the coliseum walls as she searched far and wide, weaving throughout many columns that served no purpose any longer in the place. thorns pricked at the nearby ruckus of swallows rummaging through the grass for meals to fulfill their hopes. with the spring air taunting her, the thin flesh that cascaded over her body served as no purpose. only to cause more distress of heat framing over her copper cloak. chasms could no longer contain the capacity of saliva, and so she began panting heavily. her ribs edged lightly through every time she heaved for breathe. coming across a dense patch of shade from the large barrier of the coliseum, she found it to suit her need to cool. limbs gave way easily as she lazily laid, dome still high and attentive for any nearby canine that decided to cause temper.
