x. appearance.

Prism is quite a pretty dog... from afar. But as soon as you get up close you can see she is disabled. Prism looks like a Border Collie to the soul. But her mother, a Border Collie, was bred with a German Shepherd. That makes Prism a Border Collie Mix. The only reason you can tell she is half German shepherd is how she puts her back legs; they pull back like German shepherd. Her main coat layer is a silky black, thats as dark as ink. Her tummy, muzzle, legs and paws are all a solid white. She has a long bushy tail that seems to wag constantly.

Prism was born with two brown eyes. but after the accident [read history] it slowly turned dice blue. When it turned completely blue she was totally blind in that eye. Even though she has adapted to her one eye, she still walks around with some trouble. Her fur is long and pretty thick, keeping her warm in cold climates. When she was a pup, she had an accident [read history], injuring her front left paw. It remains twisted, but she learned to walk without it.

personality.

Prism is a happy-go-lucky type of dog. Even though she was abused [read history] many times in her life, she still doesn't fear much. But one things clear; she would die to protect her pups. Otherwise she has a good temper and a solid personality. She isn't the kind of dog who would bite the hand that feeds her. She is sociable to other dogs; maybe thats not so great...

When attacking, Prism tends to use her wits, not her brawns. She likes to psych opponents, and while they are confused she lunges. She shows mercy to most dogs... Unless the dog wishes to kill her pups. Sometimes Prism acts like a small puppy. She loves to play and roll around with other dogs. Another hobby of hers is to hunts down and kill squirrels, mice, and any other rodent you might find in Rome. She has a great nose and uses it to play games with the others.

history.

As soon as she was born her father wanted to kill her. But her mother ran away with her, to keep her safe. Prism was the only pup born alive. The others were still-born. Being loners, Prism and her mother, Crystal, roamed the streets, hunting for food. When Prism turned 5 months she was hit by a car, thrown into nearby bushes. A branch pierced through a paw, wounding it forever. She didn't have anymore wounds... until her eyes started turning blue. Her mother ignored this until she noticed Prism couldn't see as well. But it was too late. She became blind in that eyes after that.

For the next two years Prism and her mother explored the streets. But when Prism turned 2 and a half, her mother left her. All on her own, Prism made her way down to the docks, where she met Bruno. Bruno was a Doberman, who she fell in love with. She soon had 3 pups by him. But he found out he had to leave, and once again Prism was left alone. She wandered the streets with her pups, until she came upon a pack.

She was alone. All alone. No one here to protect her. No one for her to love, and for them to love back. nope, she was truly alone. Prism padded along the streets, stopping to smell places. Behind her trotted her three pups; two males and one female. Oh, she loved them so much. But they didn't know love yet. They seemed to follow her as if they had no choice. Yes, it seemed the same as alone. she sighed and fell down exhausted. She had no more energy. Her pups ran eagerly to her and began to suckle. So... alone.

She let out a low wail into the air. Where was her mother? Where was her father. As small tears welled up in her eyes, she blinked them away and got up. "Come my pups. Its time we find someone else to share our lives with." She continued on, until she fell into a packs territory. She didn't realize until she was ambushed by a pack of males. They barked and howled at her. Before she knew it she was flung to the ground and was being dragged by her hind legs. She cried out, as her pups raced after her, being pushed into the ground by the males.
