your character[/u]
name.
Aozora
age.
3
gender.
Female
breed.
Rottweiler
appearance.
She stands at an average height for her breed and displays a muscular but lean tone to her body. She is large, powerful, and rather robust like her breed implies. She has the usual dark brown eyes of a purebred Rottweiler and the normal markings of one. She is black with tan patches on her cheeks, muzzle, chest, legs and eyebrows. Her ears flop downward to form triangles and her tail is short and stubby.
At first glimpse one would not recognize the lithe form of her body; instead one would see the bulky mass of muscle and the hard gaze from the menacing beast. To prove her menacing side, however, she bears several scars all over her body ranging from small to noticeable. All in all. Aozora is a bit intimidating to others and likes it to remain that way.
personality.
Her name means “blue sky” and like her name suggests, sometimes she can be cloudy and unpredictable while other times she is so clear that one can see right through her (not literally). Aozora tends to be on the aggressive side when meeting new dogs and she appears very unsociable. Her aggressive nature is due to her past when she was younger. However, she is not aggressive al the time and can be quite loving once she trusts another strongly.
Trust isn’t the only issue with Aozora. She suffers from “bloodlust” which is the urge to kill when she draws blood. She also gained this condition from her past when she was in the care of humans. Besides that, she is also very protective of the ones she cares about because it will take someone a lot to make Aozora care about them. Overall, she is a bit rough around the edges but once you are on her good side, you stay there.
history.
Aozora was bred for the sole purpose of fighting. Her parents were both Rottweilers and they also fought for the humans in dog-fighting rings. She was born in Germany, the country where her breed originated from, where she fought against other dogs in the fighting rings. She had a rough time even when she was less than a year old. In the beginning the humans had trained her to fight for food and that gradually changed to killing. That was when her bloodlust appeared which is common in fighting dogs. Things remained like that for two years. For two years she had to deal with all the pain and fighting just to survive and to bring entertainment and money to the humans. She hated humans for that and she still hates them to this day.
After two years of suffering as a fighting slave to the humans, Aozora finally got her freedom. There was a large dog fighting ring bust by the German police and all the dogs were taken away by the local shelter. While the officials were trying to load her into the truck and out of her cage, she broke free and ran. She doesn’t know how long she ran for but she ended up going south.
She spent about a year or so as a stray dog on the streets, but she didn’t have any trouble. She already knew about fighting for her food so she was a natural at living out on the streets. For year or so she stayed away from humans, snarling and barking at them if they came near her, but she grew tired of that life and eventually moved on. That is how she found her way into Italy.
sample.
The night was dark and all was silent. The city streets were unusually quite for that time of night. Everything seemed still as if frozen in time until a figure lurked through the shadows. The figure paused for a moment to take in the peacefulness of the quiet night, and then it was on the move again. As it passed a streetlight, its features were exposed. It was a dog, a bitch to be exact. She was muscular and had black fur with tan markings. Her eyes were dark brown, almost blackish in the darkness. She was a Rottweiler. She was very alert and looked ready to fight someone. A sound nearby got her attention and her features perked up.
A lone human male wandered through the streets. He was wobbling and clearly unstable as he walked. It did not occur to the female that the man had been drinking, but she knew enough to stay away from him. However, she paused and observed the man as he stopped and saw her underneath the light of the streetlight. “Damned bitch,” muttered the man in German. The dog had no idea what he was saying but by his tone she understood that his voice was full of hatred. She bared her fangs slightly let out a warning growl. “Oh, you think you’re better than me, huh?” replied the man who proceeded to mock the dog. Giving a huff of disapproval, the female turned and wandered off into the darkness. Humans weren’t worth the effort and it would only piss them off more if they found out that she had ripped out the throat of a fellow human. As she disappeared like a wandering shadow, the man stumbled back to whatever hole that he had crawled out of and the night went on. For that was what strays were; wandering shadows.[/color]
